Tea Cake recipe Hi there, Does anyone know the old fashioned 'Tea Cake' recipe. It was a light yellow cake, heavier then a sponge & lighter than a Madeira cake. Ring Tin with Sugar on top. Served hot. Recipe would be great. TIA |

Too much rhubarb We have got too much rhubarb! ! I have been stewing it and putting it in the freezer. I have made strawberry and rhubarb jam ( which is very delish! ! ! ) BUT... I still have loads of it left and would like some ideas please on what to do with it. |

Custard...recipe calls for double cream... can I just use milk... and it would be 'lite blue' milk at that! Or should I just wait till tomorrow and buy double cream? |

Aunt Daisy's chocolate sauce - I made a chocolate cake today and instead of icing it made a very simple chocolate sauce which has no cream or milk in it and is basically water, sugar, cornflour and cocoa. Very nice poured over the cake. If anyone would like it I will post it for you.... |
