Sophie Gray/Destitute Gourmet's CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT SPREAD 75g hazelnuts 110g dark chocolate 150g butter 150g condensed milk
Toast the hazelnuts by placing them in a metal dish in a moderate oven for around 10 minutes, or until they smell 'chocolatey'. When toasted, remove the skins (they rub off when handfuls of nuts are rubbed together). Chop the nuts very finely in a food processor. Then in a double boiler melt the chocolate and butter together gently and add the condensed milk. Combine with the hazelnuts and process to a smooth consistency. Store in a jar in the fridge. :-))

Thank you so much. . Sorry its taken me awhile to get back to this, but have g-babies over the weekend (hence the need for home made nutella - they're addicted to it I think) and have only just found the time to come back and say thanks... Cheers!
