I have been given a Cascade Breadmaker What is a good recipe for white bread please

3 cups High Grade flour, 3 tsp breadmaker yeast 2tsp sugar 1 tsp salt 2 TB canola oil 1&1/4 cup plus 2 Tb,warm {not hot } water Press bake

The first breadmaker I had was a cascade and the best recipe I ever found for it was Alison Holsts Classic White Loaf. It was in her bread book, sorry I can't remember it now. Hope this helps.

I have a cascade breadmaker too, and I have just got back into making bread.This recipe below makes the most amazing loaf - just like a bought one! 1 cup water, plus an extra tbsp water 3 tablespoons oil 3/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar 3 cups high grade flour 3 teaspoons breadmaker yeast
Select 1 on the menu (basic) and "light" for colour.

reverse the order of ingredients that thitrifiv gave you. the recipe is identical to one i make, except i put the ingredients in starting with water, and work up. Hope that thitrifiv is ok with me saying this. you could try it that way, perhaps and see if it is any different. good luck. let us know the outcome.
