sausage recipes - crock pot

Any one have anything intresting. . I always do deviled sausages, not the biggest fan of curried.

8 Sausages . . 2 Cups Boiling Water
1 onion . . 2 Tbsp Sugar
1 Carrot . . 4 Tbsp Flour
S & P . . 4 Tbsp Vinegar
2 Tbsp Tomato or Worcester Sauce

Place sausages in casserole dish. Grate over carrot & onion. Mix
Sugar & Flour. Vinegar, S&P & Sauce with 2 Cups of boiling water.
Cook at 350f
180c for 1 hour

Crockpot Snags:
just throw ya snags into the crockpot. . one cup of water. . one beef oxo cube crumbled. . little squirt or two of Worcestershire sauce. . leave on LOW... about 30 mins before serving , throw in two large tins of pam's mushrooms in butter sauce and let all heat through on HIGH. . good ole stir. . taste test. . and salt and pepper if wanted. . nice pile of mashed spuds with finely chopped raw onion. . also boil some water in saucepan. . throw in rinsed frozen peas and immediately turn off stove. . let sit and dish up last and they will cook nicely while you stir, mash and serve. .

The Maggi "Slow Cooker Sausage & Tomato Casserole" is quite nice as a recipe base. It has chick peas and canned chopped tomatoes, sausages (I use Tegel Chicken sausages). Really quick to make and nice with rice or mash potato!
