Help with Green Tomato relish too hot I'm making some green tomato relish and I've just tasted it. Its a little too hot from the cayenne pepper, and the root ginger is a little strong. Any ideas as to what I can add to down play these two flavours? |

Tomato relish - not thick enough, can I re-do? Made some tom relish this avo, Edmonds cookbook recipe. Last lot i did was fine, this lot nowhere near as thick. Can I remove from jars reheat and add a bit more of the flour vinegar mix to thicken it some more! I will wait till tomorrow on the off chance... |
