Apple in slaw, will it go brown? I am making a slaw for pulled pork buns for lunch and it has grated apple in it. If I grate it now and incorporate it with a vinaigrette will it go brown by 1pm? ( it's 10am now) thanks. |

Lemons are so expensive! Was after a couple of lemons yesterday, New world had them at $26 a kilo! Grabbed some limes instead at $6 (i think) a kilo, they ended up at 60cents each and very small, would hate to think how much a lemon would be. I have been a keen gardener for 15ish... |

Washing Soup Mix - Does it really matter? I always wash rice until the water is clear ans then leave to soak in cold water until ready to cook, and split peas etc I was also, I thought it was on the pack to wash before use but now in the habit I just wash most things that come out of a packet. |
