Yet you happily butt into threads and poke fun at other peoples typo's or grammar. Nobody wanted to make you look like an idiot - you had that appearance already.

OP, when I was low carb, I used to mix whey powder with thickened cream for breakfast.

You think this is NOT Nasty!
No!
Ok then .

uli, Jan 5, 12:44am
And of course this here - is NOT nasty at all either .
Yes!

ant_sonja, Jan 5, 12:45am
smoked salmon & eggs, especially if you have pre-boiled eggs ready and waiting in the fridge, slice and dress the eggs with herb yogurt or Mayo add the salmon on the side some greens if you want or mushrooms (I like them raw) and voila - easy, healthy & fast :-) You can vary the types of fish and serve eggs either fried, poached or whichever way depending on mood and time.

We have farm milk readily available - same problem unfortunately.

lyl_guy, Jan 5, 12:58am
Not in the same league as calling someone an "Idiot" and "stupid".No, not at all.

kay141, Jan 5, 12:59am
For goodness sake, leave me out of this. I find the nastiness and abuse on these boards just too much at times. There are several posters who, I think, should be banned.

gardie, Jan 5, 1:04am
Thanks for the ideas - shame things needed to get nasty.

cookessentials, Jan 5, 1:21am
My post was not toyou. And no, I am not back from holiday, I have been here all along.

cookessentials, Jan 5, 1:22am
No, not nasty at all.a little light hearted ribbing. Lighten up.

cookessentials, Jan 5, 1:23am
Sorry Kay, didn't mean to upset you. It was a bit of light hearted ribbing.

knowsley, Jan 5, 1:29am
Wasn't that bad, really.

Oh wait, no, it was.

cookessentials, Jan 5, 1:30am
Mmm, whey powder and cream.just cant get my head around that one LOL.

tracey99, Jan 5, 1:44am
Hi Gardie, I stopped posting a long time ago on the recipe thread because it is so nasty. You ask or post one question/suggestion and get shot down in a ball of flames, a bit like school ground bullying.I'm a weight watchers/low carb person and find easy for my breakfast when I'm in a hurry; a small bowl of special K, a chopped banana and some low fat milk and if I have it in the fridge a spoonful of low fat yoghurt. Hope this helps :)

turtlet, Jan 5, 1:48am
Agreed, would be good if all those involved could give it a rest.

Breakfast: easy/healthy/fast
I'd love some breakfast ideas. I quite enjoyed my protein shakes cos they met all the requirements however I want to be back to easy real food - healthy stuff. I don't have a lot of time in the mornings and I really do like low carb so what can you suggest. I don't want to be cooking!

How can you be low carb if you suggest "Special K" cereal! And banana! Both of which are high carb. Then "low fat yoghurt" - which is also higher carb than full fat Greek yoghurt!

I am not sure if any if you actually understand what "low carb" means!

Apart from vilifying me ans my posts .

uli, Jan 5, 2:01am
Do you all want "info" of do you want not to be disturbed in your "sleep"!

Of course we can all "give it a rest" - but I thought if people asked questions - they want answers - and maybe even answers that are TRUE - rather than answers that simply"support them" . in whatever folly they are engaged.

Maybe I am wrong and we should all just "support" the Hcg diet or whatever people feel like - and not even mention that people have got very ill or even died because of that cr@p idea.

Give us some feedback (on the topic please - not on myself) and see what is wanted .

knowsley, Jan 5, 2:10am
Why does it have comply to YOUR idea of low carb! If that was the only carbs she ate for the day, it'd be low carb. What is the limit of carbs per day to qualify! There are many, many types of low carb diets and they don't all have to be accepted by you.

lyl_guy, Jan 5, 2:12am
We all give our opinions based on what WE know, and believe.Live and let live, Uli, I'm sure you'd be happier.

uli, Jan 5, 2:15am
Ummm - if poster#1 says she wants a low carb breakfast - what has that to do with "my ideas of low carb" - I always thought you could simply count carbs and then know if it is low or not .

If you have different ideas then let us know what your "low carb/easy/healthy/fast" breakfasts would be .

uli, Jan 5, 2:18am
I am letting poster#1 know what I think is a "low carb/easy/healthy/fast" breakfast.
Not sure what that has to do with "opinions based on what WE know, and believe."
Or what that has to do with "Live and let live, Uli, I'm sure you'd be happier".

tracey99, Jan 5, 2:19am
And Uli dear see what I mean about school yard bullying!.I lost 20 kg eating Special K & Banana for breakfast!

lyl_guy, Jan 5, 2:21am
That's just what I was saying. we all have different opinions. embrace them, stop the nasty jibes, FGS!

knowsley, Jan 5, 2:23am
I have mentioned what I ate when doing a low carb diet.

And she never mentioned she wanted a low carb breakfast, she said "I really do like low carb ". Mark Sisson recommends up to 150g of carbs in a day - not that I rate the guy, but other LC people think he is God.

uli, Jan 5, 2:24am
I have no problems with you losing weight eating carbs. If you feel you need them - great - obviously you really cut back on the calories to achieve that weight loss - or even went to the gym in addition to cutting back on the food.

What IO try to say is that poster #1 wanted "Low Carb/easy/healthy/fast breakfast ideas" - which is not "Special K & Banana for breakfast!".
Do you understand the difference! She DOES NOT want to eat that cr@p . and asked for other options!

Great for you to have lost 20kgs (and I hope you keep it off on that diet) - but that was not Poster#1's question!
