Honey Oat Bars 1 cup rolled oats;1 cup sultanas;1/2 cup wholemeal s.r flour;1/2 cup raw sugar;1/2 cup coconut;155g butter;1 tbsp runny honey. Combine oats,sultanas,sifted flor,sugar,coconut in bowl.Melt butter,add honey,mix into dry ingredients until mix clings together.Press evenly over base of 28x18cm lamington tin.Bake in mod oven 15-20 mins or until golden. Cut into bars while hot. Remove from tin when cold.

Dream Bars These have Christmas fruit mince in them,BUT they are delicious,even for those (like me) who dont like fruit mince.
BASE:90g butter;1/3 cup brown sugar,lightly packed;1 cup plain flour.TOPPING:2 eggs;1/2 cup brown sugar,firmly packed;1 tsp vanilla;1 tbsp plain flour;1/2 tsp baking powder;1 1/2 cups coconut;1 cup bottled fruit mince. Beat butter with sugar until light & creamy. Stir in sifted flour,mix well.Press into 28x18cm lamington pan lined with greased paper. cont....

cont... Bake in mod oven 10 mins.Remove from oven and spread with prepared topping,bake a further 25-30 mins,until firm and golden brown.Allow to cookl in tin. When cold,dust with sifted icing sugar. Cut into slices.
TOPPING:Beat eggs,sugar and vanilla until thick and creamy. Fold in sifted dry ing,coconut and fruit mince. Mix well.

Afgans 200 grams of butter, 6 tablespoons of sugar, 1 & 1/2 cups of flour, 2 tablespoons cocoa, 1 & 1/4 cups of cornflakes,... cream butter and sugar add dry ingredients slowely, lastly add cornflakes put spoonfulls onto a greased tray and bake for 15 mins at 180 ice with cjocolate icing and put a walnut half on each

Anzac Biscuits 1 cup flour1 cup Chelsea White Sugar1 3/4 cups coconut (coarsely shredded coconut is great for texture)1 1/2 cups rolled oats1/4 cup chopped walnuts 100g butter2 tablespoons Chelsea Golden Syrup1 teaspoon baking soda2 tablespoons boiling water Method Preheat oven to 160*C. Mix flour, sugar, coconut, rolled oats & walnuts in a bowl. Melt butter & golden syrup together. Mix baking soda with boiling water to dissolve. Mix both butter & baking soda mixtures together in a large bowl. Add flour mixture & combine.Roll teaspoonsful into small balls. Place on a well greased or baking paper lined oven tray & press flat with the back of a spoon. Allow room for biscuits to spread. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes. Cool on a wire rack & store in an airtight container

Belgian Biscuits 1 cup brown sugar-packed, 200gr butter, 1 lg egg, 1 tsp cinnamon, 2 tsp mixed spice, 2 tsp cream of tartar, 1 tsp baking soda, 2 cups flour. Cream butter & sugar until light &creamy. Add egg & spices mix well. add rest of dry ingredients. Mix well. Turn out onto floured board & form into 3 sausage shaped rolls., about 5 cm in diameter. Chill in fridge or freezer until firm enough to cut into thin slices. Each roll should make approx 30. Bake 180*C for 10 mins. Fill with raspberry icing or raspberry jam

Bulk Refrigerator Biscuits Makes 100 (depends how thick you slice the mixture of course) 250g butter, 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspn vanilla, 2 eggs, 4 cups flour, ¼ cup cornflour, 1 tblspn baking powder, ½ teaspn salt. Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla, until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix dry ingredients together and work into the creamed mixture. Divide dough in ¼ s and add any of the following: - ½ cup coconut - OR - 1 tblspn cocoa - OR - ½ cup cornflakes - OR - ½ cup currants or sultanas - OR - almond essence and top each biscuit with an almond. Form into 4 rolls, wrap in foil and freeze. Chill first if too soft to handle. Thaw until soft enough to slice. Cut into 1 cm slices. Place on greased baking tray. 180C about 15 mins

Caramel Drops Filling:20g butter, 3 tsp golden syrup, 2 tsp brown sugar and 1/4 cup condensed milk. Heat ingredients using a low heat until mixture thickens. Remove from heat. Base:125g butter, 1/4 cup caster sugar,1 cup flour and 2 tblsp corn flour. Cream butter and sugar, stir in flour and cornflour. Knead lightly until smooth. Roll heaped teaspoons into balls then slightly flatten. Make an indent in each biscuit and fill with caramel. Bake 180c for about 15 mins.

Caramello Chocolate Cookies 1 egg;150g brown sugar;60ml vegetable oil;75g plain flour;50g self raising flour;1/4 tsp baking soda;100g dark choc,melted;250g caramello chocolate squares. Preheat oven to moderate.Lightly grease two oven trays. Beat egg,sugar & oil in small bowl with electric mixer until mixer changes in colour. Stir in sifted dry ingredients and dark chocolate;stir until mixture becomes firm. Centre one square of caramello choc on 1 heaped tsp of choc mixture;roll into ball,enclosing caramello square. Place balls on prepared trays,allowing 6cm between each cookie. Bake in mod oven about 10 mins. Stand cookies 5 mins;transfer to wire racks to cool. Makes 24

Cherry Macaroons ½ cup condensed milk, 1 cup desiccated coconut, 1 cup shredded coconut, 100g packet glace cherries, 1 Tbsp self-raising flour, 1 Tbsp custard powder. Turn oven to 180°C. Lightly grease 2 biscuit trays. Put condensed milk and all coconut into a mixing bowl. Chop cherries finely, add to bowl. Sift flour & custard powder into bowl. Mix well. Drop Tbsp of mixture onto tray 4cm apart. Bake one tray at a time on centre shelf for 15 mins. Leave on trays 5 mins and then cool on wire rack

Choc Chunk Cookies 125gm butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1/2tsp vanilla essence, 100gms dark chocolate roughly chopped, 1 1/2 cup flour, 1/4cup cocoa 1 1/2 tsp baking powder. Melt butter and cool slightly, beat sugar and egg until pale and thick, stir in butter, mix well. stir in vanilla and chocolate. sift flour,cocoa and baking powder, add to mixture. roll large teaspoons lots, folatten with fork, bake 180 c for 15minutes. Variation. take out cocoa and chocolate and increase flour to 2 cups and add 3/4 cup yogurt covered raisins

Chocolate Shortcake Deluxe 1/4 lb butter,11/2 c flour,1/2 c sugar,1 tsp b.p,1 Tbsp golden syrup,1 egg,pinch of salt. Cream butter and sugar,add egg then golden syrup,add dry ingreds,mix and then spread in a shallow tin. bake 20 mins in moderate oven. allow to cool then spread the folling on top!1/4 lb butter,40z flour,1 egg,7oz icing sugar,vanilla. Cream butter(melt slightly)add sugar then eggand beat,add flour and mix well,spread over shortcake,refridge to set. spread over with chocolate icing.

Clems Clouds 2 eggs, ½ cup sugar, ¼ teaspn salt, ½ teaspn vanilla,1 cup flour, 2 cups mixed fruit, 1 teaspn cinnamon. Beat eggs at high speed until lemon coloured and foamy, 3-4 mins. Add sugar, salt, vanilla, cinnamon. Beat until thick and creamy. Fold in flour and fruit. Drop teaspoonfuls of mixture onto baking tray. 150 ° 15 mins

Cornflake Biscuits 125 grams of butter, 3/4 cup of sugar1 teaspoon of baking powder, 2 tablespoons of milk, 1 & 1/2 cups of flour, 2 eggs, 1 cup of sultanas.... cream butter and sugar add eggs then sultanas & dry ingredients. Drop spoonfulls into crushed cornflakes and cook at 180 for 20 mins

Daddies Biscuits 1 egg 1/4 C. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. vanilla essence 1/2 C. flour 1 C. dried fruit (e.g. fruit cake mix, raisins) 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Preheat oven to 150„aC (350F). Grease/line a baking tray. Beat the egg at high speed until lemon coloured and foamy (3-5 minutes). Add sugar, salt, vanilla and cinnamon. Beat until thick and creamy. Fold in flour and fruit. Drop teaspoonfuls of mixture onto baking tray. Bake for 15 minutes. Makes approx. 20 biscuits

Gingernuts 100gms butter, 1 tab golden syrup, 1 cup sugar, 2 tsps ginger, 1 tsp mixed spice, 1 egg, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 3/4 cup flour. Melt butter in large pot or bowl. Remove from heat and stir a syrup, then sugar, ginger and egg. Beat with a forktill well mixed then add baking soda and mix thoroughtly. Add flour and stir again. Mixture will be soft but workable if you keep you hands damp. Form into 70-80 marble sized balls and place on ungreased trays. Leave room for spreading. Bake 180 for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer to a cooling rack and store in airtight tins . NB if they do not flatten you have been too generous with the flour

Highlander Biscuits 500g [1 lb ] butter, 1 tin condensed milk, 1 tsp salt, vanilla, 2 cups sugar, 6 tsp Bakin g Powder, 6 cups flour [1kg]a little more if add egg to recipe to make creamier. Cream butter, sugar& cond milk [&egg]. Add dry ingredients and mix well.Rol into balls and flatten with fork.[I make a sausage and slice, then prick with a fork] Bake mod oven 12 minutes. Freeze well and thaw quickly. Can divide and make different flavours. eg choc chips, cocoa, bournvita, peanuts, almond essence, lemon juice and peel, sultanas, weetbix, ricies etc., I make this for sales tables and weigh out into 100gm biscuits, clingwrap and sell for $1. makes approx 24

Honey Jumbles (Microwave Recipe) 25g butter, 3tblsp honey, 125g sr flour, ¼ tsp ground ginger, ¼ tsp ground cinnamon, 1c icing sugar, a little water, food colouring.Line a microwave safe baking tray or plate with baking paper. Combine butter and honey in a heatproof bowl and cook on high power for 45 seconds. Add flour, ginger and cinnamon and mix into a firm dough. Roll out between 2 shets of plastic wrap until dough is 1cm thick. Using a sharp knife, cut into oval shapes from the dough until all the mixture is used. Place 6 biscuits at a time around the outside of a baking tray and cook on high power for 1-2 minutes or until biscuits are set. Stand for 5 minutes then cook the next batch.Combine icing sugar with enough water to make a smooth icing then stir in a few drops of food colouring.Allow icing to complete set on biscuits before storing in an airtight container
