Cuisinart 14 cup. More affordable option and I LOVE mine.

Not kenwood chef - we have one, it's crap

Agree with that, Kenwood are not what they used to be. I still use the electric beaters from a 40+ year old Kenwood but the food processor I bought several years ago didn't last at all, hence my Cuisinart one.

I have a kenwood (both a mixer and a food processor) and I have had no trouble with either of them. I have had them for about 8 years or so now and they are still going strong.

magimix
Love using it, but it's heavy so I'm lucky I have the bench space to have it out all the time.

I have a Kenwood cake mixer (the big one) and a Kenwood food processor and both have been great over the last 25 years .

Not sure what the Kenwoods of today are like of course.

I was going to look at the Breville café series one. Not sure what they are like.

I have an old Kenwood Chef mixer too, my MIL bought it when they first came out in the UK in the early 60's. It's still going strong and I haven't had any trouble with it except to replace the original Kenlite bowl which I broke, I replaced it with a SS one. I've read that the newer models are not as good.
