It was mushroom soup. She sauteed mushrooms and (I think onions) then in a pot she had cubed potatoes, then (I think) she stick blended in half the mushrooms etc, served the soup into bowls topped with the remaining sauteed mushrooms. Think it went something like that, I wasn't really focusing, was doing 2 things at once, as usual at that time of night

I thought the mushroom soup recipe was with Kelly(master chef) and country goodness sour cream Thick'n Creamy Mushroom Soup 250g Mushroom, button, chopped (can add extra for a stronger mushroom taste) 250g (1) Onion, chopped 15 g Mainland Butter, unsalted 40 g (1/2) Potatoes, chopped 500 ml Chicken stock 100 g Country Goodness Sour Cream Salt. Pepper.
Method Sweat onions in butter. Add mushrooms and cook until soft for approx 15 minutes. In a separate pot bring your chicken stock to the boil. Add the cubed potatoes and simmer until soft. Add ½ the mushroom mixture then blend until fine. Add the rest of your mushroom mixture and then on a low heat add the Sour cream Serve with a dollop of Country Goodness sour cream. Salt and pepper to taste. Please note that this is a thick and creamy mushroom soup, to make thinner add additional Chicken stock to suit taste.

Is it 40g potato, as in 1/2 a potato, or 400 gms, 1-2 potatoes?

rechecked the recipe and it is the 40gms. The potato is there basely to thicken it
