Yes i think Mr Borich must be long overdue for replacement, in my humble opinion.

I have been a proud owner of Le Creuset for over 25 years.I have however read the instructions after purchasing my first piece.All you so called Chefs must be illiterate.The instructions booklet clearly states "Overheating the cast iron item or heating while empty will damage the enamel".

If there is a piece of cookware I would take to a deserted island it would be
Le Creuset.Just use a common sense when cooking with it and it will give you
a lifetime of pleasure.
