And the winter warmers are going up - spicy Malaysian laksa (coconut cream and chilli/spices, no-carb noodles and prawn or chicken soup)

Good on you TM and tough luck to the person who complained to them about me posting details of our low carb recipe site: (If I wasn't a lady I'd make a raspberry noise at you! )

For all LCC members - we're running a 5 day poll on the best member's recipe for April.

The winner has their recipe made and photographed for the main site, gets their name put on it and gets a little prize.

Vote now!

There are some excellent recipes on the lowcarbcooking website for ANYONE trying to reduce carbohydrate consumption, even those who are not paid-up union members ;)

It certainly isn't kosher to sneak in and attack under the radar. I think some members would be very surprised to learn that a regular lowcarb contributor has been posting poison on the Recipes MB under the alias of the mysterious jacko205 - now disabled.

Maybe having lacked the courage to post her thoughts under her legitimate username, she will find the courage to feel enough shame to apologise privately to her colleagues.

All the best with the new website :)

bedazzledjewels, May 1, 12:33am
You're a mine of information Elliehen.
Thanks for the positive comments about the website.

kirinesha, May 1, 12:40am
I'd be interested to know who jacko205 really was. Thanks for letting us know Elliehen.

kirinesha, May 1, 3:46am
. . actually, on reflection I don't really care who Jacko205 was or wasn't. MB supposed intrigues are just distructive and pointless and Dazz and I are certainly hoping to avoid the sort of nastiness found on here at times on our LCC site.

Time to move on from old quarrels...

elliehen, May 1, 5:36am
I think things have moved on already. Recipes now seems to be full of brand new posters, and shorter threads with quick Q & A assistance and good humour.

I too have no interest in old or recent disagreements, nor in a public humiliation - and it would be, for the things that were said. It's enough for the perpetrator to know that TradeMe has uncovered and removed her dual account.

bedazzledjewels, May 1, 6:09am
I'm sure there are lots of traders with dual names!
Life's tricky enough being just one person I think!
Choosing our winning recipe is quite challenging! I wish I had either the time or inclination to cook them all first.

kirinesha, May 1, 6:18am
It sure is challenging! And I guess it's only going to become more so with each subsequent month!

Nice problem to have though and great to see people sharing their tried and true recipes :)

Looks like you know more than TM in this case elliehen.

Since you brought it up here could you enlighten us who that person "jacko205" is - since I have never seen any posts of that user.

You seem to know that it is
1. a female and
2. a "regular lowcarb contributor"
which has "has been posting poison on the Recipes MB"
and has both accounts disabled now.

So who was that?

And could you let us know what posts this person made - I never saw any.

Thanks for bringing that important bit of info to our attention.

Oh elliehen. Are you for real? I have never come across jacko205 and I read a lot of threads. I haven't seen, of late that any other poster has been disabled except one and he was banned quite a few weeks ago now.

uli, May 1, 9:42am
hmmm - amazing considering ellie seems to know exactly what is going on - haven't you figured it all out on your facebook site already LOL :)

cookessentials, May 1, 9:46am
sorry, not with you , not into game playing.

kirinesha, May 1, 9:47am
Anyway, this thread is NOT about some supposed mystery poster, it's about the www.lowcarbcooking.co.nz website thanks.

Perhaps we can all keep to subject?

cookessentials, May 1, 9:56am
Someone asked a question, I gave them the answer.

kirinesha, May 1, 10:18am
Sure, but let's just move on - this is not the place to discuss old business but to offer a new friendly and welcoming site for those who want to find out about, or have chosen, LC as a lifestyle for health and weight control.
