Does it have solid bits in it or is it universally thick? If it's got solid bits, try zapping it briefly in the microwave - about 30 seconds or so and giving it a good whisk.

Water. It's how they make coconut cream and milk, mixing grated coconut meat with water and then pressing/straining.

hey there haha you have probably already solved it just put the can in a bowl of luke warm water ...........let it sit and then give it a good shaking to mix it all up inside before you open it if you still have clumps of cream when u open it .........wash your hand and mix that will break it all down nicely ..............if you cant put your hand in the water because its too hot you more than likely would have cooked whats inside

Give a good shake, cut the tin and pour out the cream add little bit of water. We normally use light coconut cream........good for our taste as not very rich. Enjoy your fish.
