Sure is. Freeze it in ice cube trays if you only ever use small amounts. Put loose in a sealed bag once frozen

I do the same with stock, juices, sauces.

Yep I freeze mine in the ice cube trays, use them as I need them.

Just buy a coconut that weighs more than 900 grams, drink the liquid if it tastes good to you, then put in plastic bag and smash on concrete, use a thin knife to separate the flesh from the wood. Put strips through a juicer, and you have half a cup of sweet cream and a bowl of fibre. The cream is powerful medicine, don't eat too much. You are having success if you have oily skin that water runs off like water off a ducks back and doesn't sun burn.

shadowzz - why do you copy and paste the same old post into every thread there is - regardless of the question?

Poster #1 wanted to know if he/she can FREEZE it, not how to make it.

shadowzz, Sep 26, 2:39am
I can quote myself if I want. To you coconut cream is something that comes in a can with additives?

uli, Sep 26, 3:01am
No - to me coconut cream is something that comes in a tin from Ceres and has nothing but coconut in it - no stabilizers, no colouring, flavouring or preservatives, just plain simple organic coconuts:)

And if I find a fresh coconut in the supermarket then I only buy it if there is still enough fluid inside so I know it is fresh - not everybody on htese boards here is an idiot LOL :) Some have even lived in the tropics for a while and know exactly how to deal with coconuts ...

When Ifroze coconut cream I found it went all powdery in the ice cube containers. I threw it out.

accroul, Sep 26, 5:36pm
I found the same thing.

shadowzz, Sep 26, 10:10pm
All you need for your version is a can opener.
Ceres Organic coconut, contents
Coconut, Carrageenan (EO47), Water.

shadowzz, Sep 26, 10:16pm
Carrageenan
Findings over the years in Europe and the United States suggest that
assumptions about the safety of carrageenan need to be reconsidered
and that carrageenan may need to be better regulated by the Food and
Drug Administration (FDA), said Dr. Tobacman. "There seems to be
enough evidence associating carrageenan with significant
gastrointestinal lesions, including malignancies, to avoid ingesting
it," she said.
