Pork Chops and Apple Slices 4 pork loin chops (1" thick) well trimmed 2 medium apples peeled, cored and sliced 1 tsp butter ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional) salt and pepper Directions: 1. In skillet, brown pork chops quickly; drain well. 2. Arrange a layer of sliced apples in slow cooker, then a layer of pork chops; repeat. Dot with butter; sprinkle with nutmeg. Add salt and pepper. 3. Cover and cook on low setting 6 to 8 hours. from the old Crockpot thread

I like pork chops, a can of peaches in juice, some garlic, carrots and onion. Cook on low all day, yummy on mashed spud. Can thinken the sauce if you like.
