Hi any recipes for chicken drumsticks in the slow cooker, need a meal for tomorrow night! TIA

Hi I brown my drumsticks first in a frying pan with a sliced onion, some roughly chopped mushrooms and garlic, then I put it all into the crock pot with a big squeeze of lemon, a splash of white wine and a crumbled chicken stock cube. Cook for 4-5 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low. To serve remove chicken from sauce and stir in a couple of tablespoons of sour cream/cream/yoghurt. Spoon sauce over chicken and serve on mashed potatoes with some beans or carrots on the side.

BARBECUE CHICKEN
1chicken cut up or quartered or use 4 breasts or use 8 drums 1 can condensed tomato soup 3/4 cup chopped onion 1/4 cup vinegar 3 Tablespoons brown sugar 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon sweet basil 1/4 teaspoon thyme Place chicken in slow cooker. Combine all other ingredients and pour over chicken. Cover tightly and cook at "low" for 6-8 hours. Makes 4 servings.
