Help - crumbing chicken drumsticks

casswill, Sep 6, 12:27am
I just can't remember what order to do home made crumbing for chicken drumsticks. Is it egg, flour then crumbs or flour, egg, crumbs! And what is the best temperature to use and should I use fanbake for best results. It's been years since I've made them this way as usually use crockpot.Any help appreciated :)

i just sprinkle the bread crumbs along with salt'n'pepper on the drums then roast them (I don't turn them very much)

Its usually flour, egg then crumbs. The flour helps the egg stay on the meat, then of course the crumbs stick to the egg coating.

I remember using Feb as a clue, flour, egg, breadcrumbs

That's a great tip.The drumsticks were really yum, and the kids loved them which always makes for a good dinner time.

yep, just like Wiener Schnitzel. You can also put some seasoning in the flour too.

Or use "Stuffing mix" for your crumbs. Already got the herbs in it.

You can also dip them in yoghurt then panko crumbs - delicious!
