INSTRUCTIONS - Season lamb with salt & pepper. Heat oil and brown meat. Set aside. Brown onion until lightly browned. Add the curry paste, garlic, ginger, cardamom & salt - cook until fragrant. neck chops 2 tblspns flour, 8-10 neck chops, 1 tblspn brown sugar, 2 tblspn vinegar, 2 tblspns tomato sauce, 1/2 tspn each of Mustard,curry powder/ginger & all spice, 1 tblspn marmalade, 1 Cup of water, S&P put all in crockpot, put on low - eat in 8 hrs or so. old family recipe - am I now in trouble, don't tell my Mum where you got this recipe. Lamb Stew Try Big chunks of lamb 1 can indian tomatoes 1 can watties concentrated Tomato soup 1 red onion roughly cut 3 cloves garlic Curry powder to taste. If you want a mild flavour 2 tsp (depending on powder) Put all of the above in crock pot at cook on high for 4 hours. Then add sultanas or rasins and a red capsicum and cook on low for a further hour. This is great in winter .you may need to add an extra half cup of water depending on moisture, this recipe is also good with shanks. You can also add potato and/or kumera to this dish, add just for long enough to cook the veges through. posted by nicnak"
