I make mine like this.1 cup grated cheese, 1/2 packet philly cream cheese, 2 Tbs chopped sundried tomatoes, OR 2 Tbsp chopped dried apricot. Ground Black pepper and about 1 Tbsp Mayo to bind alltogether.Then roll ball in either chopped walnuts or toasted seasme seeds.I place seeds or nuts on baking paper and roll.Chill in fridge till ready.Can also use chopped gherkins.All options work nicely.

My mum always made this and it's yum. 1 carton cream cheese, 2 rashers crisp fried bacon, chopped, 1 or 2 chopped pickled onions, 1 cup grated cheese, 2 chopped gherkins, 2 t gherkin relish. Mix all together and roll in chopped nuts. Shape as desired.

Carton of cottage cheeses with chives, about 1 cup of grated cheese, dash worcestershire sauce, small teaspoon curry. Just adjust to your liking. Roll in chopped nuts.

Goats Cheese Log
250g cream cheese, softened, 200g goat Feta, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, ½ teaspoon paprika, Pinch cayenne pepper, 3 gherkins finely chopped, ½ cup craisins
1/3 cup chopped pistachio nuts and ¼ cup parsley chopped to roll log in.
Beat cream cheese until smooth, add feta and beat again. Stir in mustard, paprika, cayenne, gherkins and craisins. Form into a log, rolling in mixed pistachio and parsley. Cover with gladwrap and keep in fridge. Can be made in advance. Keeps for up to a week.
Recipe was copied from a magazine I was reading at the hairdressers sometime before Christmas. Having made it heaps since then, someone always asks for the recipe, and each time it was served, none was leftover. Absolutely delicious, and looks very attractive.

Cheese Ball Tasty cheese 125gr chopped ham 1tsp c/powder grated onion crushed garlic 2TBSPs gerkins (opt) pkt onion soup cayenne pepper 2TBSP tom sauce 2TBSP mayonaise 1tsp lemon juice 1TBSP chopped parsley 1/2c chopped nuts Grate cheese, add ham, gerkins, onion, garlic, c/powder & pepper. Mix well. Stir in liquids. Add parsley & salt & roll in chopped nuts. Chill before serving
