gerry64, please check.....is the date a Best Before date or a Use By date? If it's a best before date it MAY be ok but I would let my nose give me the first indication re that - if the chicken smells at all like you wouldn't expect it to, then IMO don't eat it. If the date is a Use By I personally would most likely not eat it but again I would do the 'sniff' test first, then decide.:-))

I think it will go in the bin - it is best by today - and too late now to cook it
