Judith's Kids Museli Sophie Gray's recipes This recipe wasdeveloped for children who didn't want to eat conventional museli. 1. Preheat oven to 180 C 2. In lrg bowl combine6 cps rolled oats & 1/2 cp coconut.
3. melt 1/2 cp oil 1/2 cp honey & if you like molasses u can add 2 Tbl spns. 4. Toast in 2 or 3 batches in a roasting pan in oven for about 10 mins or when light brown. 5. Remove from oven add 1 cp dried fruit & 12 crushed weetbix. 6. Store in airtight container

6.45 a.m. get up and go to kitchen, notice cat scratching with one paw on ranch slider and meowing. Grab weetbix and break 1/4 off one piece, place in dish with warm water and milk. NOT trim milk.Put outside for cats breakfast. NOTE:-Only then will cat shutup! PSA tiny handfull of science diet as well makes cat last till 4pm:-)

Weetbix Ginger Slice. 100gm butter, 2T golden syrup, 3/4c sugar, 3/4c coconut, 1 1/2c crushed weetbix, 3/4c flour, 1 1/2tsp baking powder, 1 1/2tsp ground ginger. Icing: 2T butter, 4tsp golden syrup, 1c icing sugar, 2tsp ground ginger. In large saucepan, melt together butter, golden syrup and sugar. Add rest of ingredients & mix well. Press into a lined 20x30cm slice tin. Bake @ 180°C for 15-20mins. Ice whilst hot. Icing: Melt together butter & golden syrup. Blend int the icing sugar & ginger.

American Crunch.(Just made a batch now) 1/2c flour, 1/4c cocoa, 1 1/2c brown sugar, 1 c coconut, about 6 weetbix, 250gm butter, 1 tsp vanilla. Icing: 1 1/2c icing sugar, 2T cocoa, 1T butter, hot water. Sift flour & cocoa into bowl. Stir in brown sugar & weetbix. Melt the butter & add to the dry mix with the vanilla essence. Press into slice tin and bake @ 180°C for 25mins. Cool before covering with icing. Icing: Melt butter, sift in icing sugar & cocoa. Add enough hot water or milk to mix to spreadable consistency. Add extra coconut to the top if you desire. You can also add a drop of peppermint essence to the icing if you want a choc peppermint crunch.
