Depends on what you want to spend. Salter are probably one of the best at around $28 or so.

ive got a salter meat thermometer you can have for $10 if thats what your after... its hardly used. . i was using to check the temp of my baby bird food but its not suitable...

looks like you bought an oven thermometer! ! it wont give you your meat temp LOL. It is for getting the correct heat in your oven! and also one of the cheapest and most breakable ones around.

Ha ha me, just saw it WAS an oven thermometer you wanted Duh me - sorry. It still is one of the most breakable ones though, but good that you got one anyway.

Nah I didn't get one yet, thought I'd wait n see what came up. Thanks purple goanna but it is an oven thermometer I'm looking for, I'm sure my BFs oven is running at a much cooler temp than it thinks!
