What sort of BBQ do you have, Hooded, Weber, or a good basic BBQ.

Mussels and prawns BBQ well so does corn. I sometimes do a big roast of pork on the Webber over charcoal which is a great way to feed an army.

Yes, beaker. . roast pork lots of baked jacket potatoes, buns, coleslaw, gravy and apple sauce... yum yum. . or. . roasted whole rump, bbq onions, lots of salads Mmmmm

I made flat bread yesterday with three different toppings:

Basil Pesto
Feta & Olive
Rosemary, Garlic Oil & Rocksalt

Could double the recipe. Or you can make the dough freeze it and then all you have to do is defrost add the toppings and throw in the oven.

chops always go well on sausages lots onions peppers. baked potats(we often zap in microwave so dont take as long)lots steak

Vegetable kebabs! Chunks of zucchini, onion, peppers, tomato, mushroom. Brush with oil (or Italian style salad dressing) and season.
Fishcakes are also nice on a barbie (on the flat bit) and are popular with a chilli dipping sauce.

Large Portobello Mushrooms are fab on the BBQ, esp with a garlic butter topping. We use them instead of meat patties in Hamburger Buns. Chilli prawns are also great.
