Now click on 'save' at the bottom right of the box, and your computer will take a few moments to save that page of the thread (or any internet page you want to save like this) so you have it readily accessible to read through as and when you want. Just go to where you've saved it, and click/double click on the name you've used, and it will open for you. Hope this helps.

Need to bump this thread for myself as - have just found out that I've been volunteered to cater for a wedding for 90 in Jan - broken hand or not - (if I'm not up to cooking then advising only) Wedding breakfast & supper in brides' back yard - Lord help me . !

winnie231, Aug 30, 5:21am
Any help appreciated - as hands on will be limited! My mother catered for a business function for these folks - alone - but will be relying on me when it comes to their special day - & I'm used to having staff .

For a wedding where you are having an afternoon tea or canapes-use a heart shaped cutter when making the sandwiches-just adds to the romance.

loislane1, Sep 15, 12:42am

Nice to see this thread up and running again as I'm sure when I looked last week it was lost.

I am needing ideas for cold savoury finger foods that are not messy (do not require tomato sauce, or could cause the need for for a trip to a drycleaner), for the guests at our wedding while our photos are being taken.

There is no facility for heating food or keeping food warm. Any ideas for this type of food would be extremely appreciated. I have so far, club sandwiches, blinis with "some sort" of topping, mini quiches, cheese and crackers, vege sticks, asparagus rolls, savoury scones.

Help please, I'm sure there are many more ideas out there.

Thanks in advance to everyone :)
