LOL- my Braun and my Kenwood both broke down. I now have a real cheap $15 one from Countdown which has lasted longer than both of them put together!

i've got a cheapie from Countdown too.It's lasted surprisingly well, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't cope with anything to strenuous.I've seen what looks like a really good deal on a sunbeam Stickmaster today.It's at www.offtheback.co.nz

I wouldn't get the Sunbeam. Mine broke soon after the warranty expired - a little plastic part got chewed up and I wasn't making it do anything hard!
