Sealord Smoked fish.

in a tin.
Bought a tin of this to add to seafood chowder as supermarket did not have any fresh smoked fish.
UGGGGG.when I opened it, there was no yellowish or whitish fish in it, just fish in a horrid dark blacky/red colour like dried blood.
Should the fish have been a slight colour. It looked revolting, and consequently did not go into the chowder.
I am sure I recall using this before and the fish was white with orange tints to it.
Anyone else buy this and found what I did.
Will phone company in the morning.

I use that stuff in my smoked fish pies when there's none freshly done.Never had a problem with it, tastes great every time.It is a darker colour on the outside then usual smoked fish but normal lighter colour inside.
