What about this! using the biscuits instead of the Oats, Brown sugar,Syrup, and coconut !

TAKAKA OATY GINGER CRUNCH from The Wholemeal Cafe, Takaka, Golden Bay

Melt:
150 gm butter
2 Tablespoons golden syrup (try to be precise - hold the spoon in boiling water before measuring golden syrup)
3/4 cup brown sugar

Mix together:
3/4 cup coconut
1 & 1/2 cups rolled oats
3/4 cup flour
1& 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1& 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger

Combine wet & dry mixes

Press into 20 x 20 cm pan

Bake 180* C for 25 minutes

When cool, ice with:
4 Tbsp butter
8 Tbsp icing sugar
4 teaspoons golden syrup
2 teaspoons ground ginger
Heat, melt, beat and pour hot icing over cool base

you could use a uncooked slice recipe
replace the biscuits with crushed Anzac
500g wine biscuits, 1 egg, 1/2c sugar,2t vanilla essence, 250g butter. Break biscuits into pieces. Place beaten egg, sugar and butter into sauce pan and stir over low heat until thoroughly hot - do not boil. Stir in biscuits and vanilla. Press into shallow buttered tin. Allow to cool and ice with icing. add dried fruit to taste

Uncooked chocolate Fudge slices
1 pkt crushed wine biscuits,
1/2 - 3/4 tin condensed milk,
3/4 cup sultanas,
100gms butter,
1 1/2 tbsp cocoa.
Melt butter and condensed milk, add cocoa and sultanas and then add biscuits.
Press into sandwich tin ice with choc icing .

replace the sultanas with mini marshmallows.
can leave out cocoa
