Yes we buy it on special and freeze it

Definitely "yes" as one can with most, if not all, meats - including pickled pork which we usually buy and freeze whenever it's on special.:-))

I do too. I have also frozen it cooked. I slice it, cover it with the cooking liquid and put into meal sized containers. I usually have carrots in there too. Then I reheat in the microwave, liquid and all.

Just be aware that freezing foods with salt in them accentuates the "saltiness".

Oh Dear.does that ruin the flavor!

I usually rinse raw corned beef to get that gunky stuff off before cooking. So perhaps that take care of the extra salt. Cooked, frozen and reheated doesn't taste any different to the original.

I always do that too - under cold running water.:-))

No the flavour will still be all good, we only have frozen corned beef
