I would like to open a packet but will not use it all as we are going away on holiday. Could you freeze it ?

Yes, supercook, I have successfully frozen feta cheese.

Happy holidaying - hope you're going somewhere nice and warm, but where ever, enjoy. :-))

Thanks 245 Sam going to Gold Coast so will be lovely and warm. How do you store your feta in the fridge do you wrap it in gladwrap?

How about Lisa's Feta + Sundried tomato and Basil?I've been given about 18 x 200g pots of this, with an expiry date of 22/12.Wondering if it can be frozen, or whether I should hand them outaround the neighbours pronto?

I now wrap all my cheeses in tin foil, you will be amazed at how much better they keep.

I often freeze hummus and pesto pottles etc and they're fine when they thaw.

You will never use 18 pots, give some to the red cross or the sallys so they can give make something with it or give it in food pacels (even the needy like treats).
