You can zap nuts in the blender and use them. Try macadamias or almonds.

Many thanks. Will have another look at teh website. I am not a great fan of using nuts as a crumb so will see what else is there. thanks again.

Jan, the heroin fish recipe is pretty damned good! Adapted from Dana Carpender's heroin chicken, it gives a crunchy coating

Has anyone pan fried the nutty crumbed stuff? As I would have thought it would burn to black by the time the contents had cooked? All those recipes seem to be baked in the oven instead.

No?

Just made myself a snack - soy sauce eggs! I bought my first ever Chinese cookery book when I was 17 - and this was one of the first dishes I made from it. And they still taste great! The recipe is in the the Eggs section.

Kirinesha, where would I get oat bran from? I gather that is different to rolled oats? ? Search on the net and can't find anywhere. Sorry to be a nuisance.

Is there a Recipe for lowcarb cereal anywhere you can you buy it?

Thanks. We don't have a countdown near nearby but will be going to New World in a few weeks so will see if they have it. I thought it might have to be a specialist store. Thanks again.

Helen has done it again - little raspberry ricotta souffles! In the desserts section - these are just gorgeous although great for dinner parties I think I'd be tempted to NOT share! ! !

Loving the new recipes, going to be busy this weekend!
Is it possible to substitute the vanilla whey powder with something else like coconut flour? I am having trouble with the whey powder - I can barely stomach it even in recipes :(

Brightshark, unfortunately they do completely different things.
Jump into the Recipes section and ask Helen if she has any ideas to help you. I dont tend to make desserts or bake that much so I'm not much use in that area!

I've asked over on the dark side in latest recipes on the site thread. Glad I'm not the only one too! I agree the smell is pretty hard to take...

What brand do you have Brightspark?

The smell? I cannot smell anything when I scoop it out! What brand do you use?

Umm red8 is the last one I've tried. Might also be worth mentioning that I also can't stand the smell of normal milk powder... maybe it's a 'me' thing!

I have red8 choc too. Im the same with milk powder too like calves lambs milk! I remember once I tried a diet type shake powder - was the same smell - its just pretend powders i think ha
