BBQ veges

mindi1, Dec 11, 10:04am
I have just bought my first BBQ and am wanting lots of ideas for tasty healthy meals. Suggestions please for veges.
I want to use mushrooms, colourful capsicums, onions, courgettes . what else! . but am interested to hear ideas for adding taste to these. Do I just slice them ~ largish as they will shrink ~ and toss on BBQ mat or in a tinfoil container!
Would also love ideas for cooking spuds, apart from baking on BBQ in tinfoil parcels.
Thanks!

I boil some potatoes the day before, then put in fridge, then slice them up into chips the next night and fry on bbq in oil, so yummy!

Mushrooms are easiest on skewers - we do ours in garlic and herb butter.
Capsicums and tomatoes - on the hot plate - in garlic and olive oil.
And we do courgettes diced on the hot plate - Tuscan seasoning is good.

You can do provencale tomatoes - in a tin foil dish under the roasting hood.
Ratatouille warms easily under the hood without spoiling.
And if you have a wok you can do stir fried Veges of course!
