Sausage meat and apple casserloe

Mum used to make this whenwas a kid.Does anyone have a recipe for it please!

add flavorings, roll into balls and add vegies of your choice after browning off. then add apples and softer veggies then thicken:) Its your choice on flavorings. Onions, sage, thyme, mixed herbs, garlic soy, tomato sauces, ginger for the meat. Hope this helps

Mum used to spread the sausage meat out in the bottom of a dish, then spread over either stewed apples or sliced apples, mashed spud mixed with a small diced onion on the top. Lots of variations to this.add some curry powder, layer of tomatoes etc.This was always tasty and filling. I think she sprinkled a bit of grated cheese on top of the potato too before she baked it.
