Whole peice of scotch fillet Beef

I asked for ideas for marinade etc but decided to cook contessa's way...smothered in loads of butter (dont tell my hubby's heart Dr!) salt and pepper and cook but didnt get how long for..i.e so many minutes per kg..anyone know, we like it medium and it weighs 3.6kg's.yikes there is only 6 of us and I only would eat one slice, anyone want to come for a barby it will take us all week to eat the left overs! I should have asked the butcher to cut in half...and now its clouded over and looks like rain after the gorgeous day yesterday, GRRRRRR

sharpen up ya knife and cut and freeze the other bit:)
