Agar agar is a vegetable product that sets jellies - try googling for agar jellies.

For a vegetarian jelly use 1t agar powder to 1 cup of liquid or 1T agar flakes to 1 cup liquid. The flakes make a jelly that is wobbly whereas the powder sets firm. You can buy vegetarian jelly at the supermarket apparently. It is one of the well known brands, maybe Greggs.Havent tried it myself but have been told about it.

Agar powder and agar flakes can be brought at Asian supermarkets. They also have instant agar jellies.Usually only in coconut or almond .
