my second chicken has started to lay aswell. . precious wee thing she is, so now thats 2 a day since my other hen layed thru winter... . one more chicken and one more banty to go...

i have chickens also:)i know duck eggs are great for cakes etc so am looking forward to trying them out, this is her first laying season, she is a rescue duck

Lovely. I had a white duck some years ago and she insisted on making nests under a low shed and I could not get at the egggs. Knew a thing or two she did about stealing humans lol. V
