Cooking assignmt due How much does bok choy weigh?

unicstudent, Jun 10, 9:04am
I am doing a cooking course and have a costing assignment due tomorrow - final check and realised that I had the bok choy priced per bunch, when it needs to be per kilo! ! ! Can anyone help - I need a cost per kilo and the weight of 6 small heads? ? ? Fairly good guesses would be okay, but my brain is tired and I am not sure anymore. It has been enough of a battle learning and managing excel! ! Any responses will be much appreciated :) Thanks in advance! !

6 "small" heads would probably be just about a kilo - I would think 150g to 200g for a small one. My own ones are about 500g though LOL :)

I pay $1. 50 for a bunch of 4 which would be around 1kg (as everything they pack at the gardens I buy from is normally packed to 1kg or there abouts)

I like to eat mine young and tender so use them smaller as they are so easy and fast to grow... Mind you with all this rain up north . I reckon 2 of my biguns would match Uli's... :}}

You could always check on the online supermarket websites.
