Another Food Processor pudding

recipe.
Just did this tonight, yet another easy peasy recipe I have found on the internet. This is the sort of sponge you have with fruit, not a cake sponge, but a puddingy sponge, either to pour over fruitor to top with fruit (OR JAM-stodgy winter fare, yummo), the sort of pudding you have to have with custard

WHIZZ together all of the following until combined, then turn up the speed for a minute until really creamy

125 g butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk (125ml)
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup sugar (250ml)
1tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour

recipe said to cover with sliced apple, then sprinkle on 1/4 cup brown sugar mixed with 1 tsp cinnamon

, After eating I think it would go really well pored over drained tinned plums, or topped with jam.

180c 25-30 mins---I ended up cooking mine for 30-35 mins however

Presumably you melt the butter first?

no, however our butter is kept in a butter dish, not in the fridge

Cheers for that. Had no idea what to make for dessert (not dessert folk), but just felt like something. Went looking for something quick to go with custard (which was what I was craving), didn't bother with the custard. haha
I think 1C sugar is a bit much. I did add some cinnamon in the mix, and pretty much melted the butter.

Bit of cream or ice-cream would've been good with it. :)
