Anyone got a tried and true yummy recipe for this? Would love one to make in the crockpot but any will do really, have never made it before and really feeling like it today, thanks in advance :)

Crockpot Butterscotch PuddingServe with cream/ice cream 1 cup self raising flour3/4 cup sugar1/2 tsp salt50 gm melted butter1/2 cup milk Butter sides and base of crockpotPreheat crock pot on high 20 mins. Sift flour, sugar and salt. Combine melted butter and milk. Add to dry ingredients. Stir until mixture is well blended, pour into crockpot. Cover with Sauce:~2 tbsp golden syrup2 tbsp butter3/4 cup hot water. Pour over the puddingCover with lid and cook on high approx 3 hours

oh yum, I have just been thinking and wishing longingly for some different hot pud recipes, this one will do the trick nicely, and it doesn't sound too expensive to make! Definitely a goer for 2morrow.

I have made this with brown sugar in the sauce part .. and a 50/50 mix of brown and white sugar in the sponge..
basically followed the normal choc one but left out the cocoa

I made this last night in the microwave. I did make it in a micro jug in case it boiled over in the micro. I cooked it on 500 for about 7/8 minutes. I know 500 does not seem hot enough but I find if you cook a pudding in the microwave on a high heat it seems to just go very tough and dry looking. I did check it after about 4mins to be sure. Was very nice with a dollop of cream.

Butterscotch Pudding bake 1/2hr 350F melt 2tbapbutter in 1/2 cup milk add to 1 cup s.r. flour3/4cup sugar 1/2 tsp salt mix to soft dugh and spread into a casserole dish. mix together 2tbsp golden syrup,1 1/2cup boiling water,knob butter pour over dogh mix bake with lid on for 1/2 hr at 350f
for those who might like to try an oven recipe this is absolutely delicous but watch it doesnt boil over into oven i now put a tray under the bowl, have had to clean up a syrup sauce too many times.Kids love this recipe. i
