i put jiff on a soft pot sponge. gets cups clean in seconds and also get oven racks clean

The more you use scourers, bleach, Steradent or Jif, the more you are removing the glaze, and consequently, the more the tea will stain the mug. It's a vicious circle.

Exactly! Why do we need to use any chemicals, if melamine sponge cleans everything beautifully! No harsh caustic salts, acids and useless fragrances very harmful for our hands.
