I have my mothers old kenwood food processor without any attachments other than the chopper. I am considering upgrading to one which has attachments for grating etc. I like the idea of having this feature to grate and freeze a block of cheese when on special, slice carrots etc. What would you recommend please. Do you use the grating or slicing attachment often?

my machine, with a myriad of attachments, have never used any of them in the 20 yrs . Much easier and cleaner to use a knife or grater than to haul out the machine, then having to clean bowl and attachment.

I have a Kenwood Pro that I use all the time. Always grate a kilo of cheese when it's on special, slice lots of vegetables for bulk soup making, or for large casseroles.
