I made Helen Jackson's recipe from foodlovers.co.nz and it has no ground almonds or any flour, was very nice.

I think Annabel Langbein's recipe is ground almonds not flour. Havent made it for few year but is a very good panforte Google recipe, don't hav e my books with me at present.
Please read the Note prior to this recipe, esp re using alternative flours. gives thoughts for other recipes.
