I have a recipe for a chocolate cake that has three cups of plain flour, three teaspoons of baking powder and two teaspoons of baking soda. My problem is i only have self raising flour.Would i just put three cups of self raising flour and baking soda and leave out the baking powder? Thanks.

That's what I would do, and keep my fingers crossed.
self raising flour can be made with 1 cup of flour and 1 teaspoon of BP.
So, use 3 cups of SR flour - leave out the BP, and retain the soda
