Uli thanks for your advice but I am happy cooking my steak my way as I have done for years and did I say I could not cook it in another pan. My preference is the cast iron one.is all that I said. I am not looking for brownie points here. BTW the cast iron does give the steak a different flavour from one cooked in a stainless steel or what ever.Not sure why you like to pick me to bits in posts Uli but it would be nice for you to make some nice comments at times instead of trying to be top dog all the time. You are not the only one that can cook on here.Jaybee hands Uli a badge for her chest.I must correct myself here also my post should have read steelpans not cast.Cast will not rust where steel does if not seasoned.
