I'm looking for some ideas on where to try for good catering for my hubbies 40th.The venue will heat all savouries etc for us but wanting to get platters of good food for about 80 guests.can anyone recommend a business or person to me :)Also any idea on costs and how much to order!Of the 80 guests about 20 will be kids.

I would definitely recommend this company! Phillipe Meyer used to be a tutor at the New Zealand School of Food and Wine in Chch, before its transfer to Auckland post earthquake. He does fabulous food at good prices! His website includes prices and menus, and he will guide you through quantities etc.http://www.tasteofprovence.co.nz/ Give him a call :)

"Relish" did some lovely platters for the company I used to work with.
