Do you know anyone with a Toops card! I get mine here in Palmy but there is a Toops in Wellington. They are about $11 plus GST per KG

In Palmerston North I buy mine from Davis Trading for $16 per kg and I keep the bag in the freezer and just take out when I need. Doesn't freeze together in a big lump therefore easy to scoop out just what I need for a recipe.
