I've got a large bay tree so just chuck some bay leaves on the shelves and put in containers keeps any weevils etc away.

I do this too and have never had any problems.I also put some leaves in my breadbin. Bay leaves help keep ants out of the pantry too.

i have tiny black/brown "specs" in my polenta so it's not all yellow.. the tiny dots is dark brown but not moving.. what are they?
