The little wild birds will love it if you sprinkle the dry rolled oats on the lawn for them... we buy the big bags of rolled oats , as well as wild bird seed , and cheap bread... ... . we have hours of enjoyment watching them, blackbirds, starlings, thru- sh, chaffinch, greenfinch, house sparrow and hedgesparrow all come and in the winter Waxeyes as well... we save our vegepeelings and cook them then mix rolled oats in in the morning... . they love that too... . it is nice watching their babies as they grow and become independant... ...

Fruit porridge. 2 pieces of fruit, apple, nana, orange, kiwifruit, pears etc 1T seed mix 1T rolled oats 1T bran (Seed mix = equal quantities of sesame, pumpkin, sunflower - I make a container full to use) Peel/core or what ever the fruit may need to make edible and then put it all in the whizzer and eat. I think this may also be called swiss muesli? It's delicious anyways, almost good enough for a pudding!
