Hi. I'm looking for a tried and true recipe for my bread maker. I enjoy the wholemeal loaf (in the manual) - but would like to try something that will sustain the kids a bit longer. No special dietary requirements.

If you want to make a loaf that will sustain the kids a bit longer, you need to use a loaf that uses whole grains (eg kibbled wheat) rather than seeds or rolled oats. I have a recipe that I use that I could "put up" if you're interested.
