Broken Pavlova Help

coralr, Dec 23, 1:37am
I decided this year to make mini pavlovas instead of one huge one for the family. But have a disaster, too thin, broken. Now I have 14 fairly large mini pavs, do not want to waste them - someone have a recipe I can use them in!Thought of ambrosia with fruit, cream and marshmallows - think it will work!

Eton Mess which is traditionally cream, strawberries and crushed meringues.
Your ambrosia should be ok but be careful of making it too sweet with the marshmallows and pavs - maybe if you include some yoghurt that would counter some of the sweetness although it depends also on what fruit you use.

Hope that helps.:-))

My sister had a pav break on Xmas morning, so when it was dessert time, she quickly plopped spoons of softened vanilla ice cream, sprinkled a mix of berries over, topped with choc sauce and whipped cream! It was delicious.

Just like with cakes that sink in the middle, chuck stuff on top!

Eton Mess def sounds like the way to go though.Yum!
