I would think it would be, do it as you want to use them. So either way but not sure as I have never dried them.

thanks ange164.I did some last year in slices, but just wondered about lengthwise ones.I will get it going late today and they should be ready when I get home from work in the morning

Sometimes I mash them all up and dry them on a sheet, then use them as roll-ups.Really love them pureed with added yoghurt and with or without wholegrain oats added, dried on a solid sheet and then once done, rolled up and cut into pieces.really moreish, but good it is healthy!
